What Mamba Jiu Jitsu collects on this website, why we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.
Who this covers
This policy covers the public site, the free-trial and contact forms, member accounts, family profiles, check-in, billing, and the video library. Academy staff use the information to run classes, memberships, and the facility.
Information we collect
- Free trial. First name, last name, and email. Phone is optional. If the athlete is under 18, we also store the parent or guardian’s name, and the email on the form is the guardian’s.
- Contact. Name, email, and message. Phone is optional.
- Account. The name and email from the sign-in you choose. Google and Microsoft run only after you click their button.
- Membership application. Name, phone, date of birth, and emergency contact. Street address is not collected here. Address is collected later, only when you start Square checkout.
- Youth and family. A parent or guardian must consent before we save a profile for someone under 18. Under 13, the contact email must be the guardian’s, not the child’s.
- Billing. Square receives the customer details needed to charge a membership you start.
- Check-in and video. Door-pass scans, belt notes, and videos you add stay in the academy account.
- Deletion requests. The name, email, and note you send on the deletion form.
What we leave out
The trial form does not ask for experience level. The membership application does not ask for a street address. Analytics does not run until you choose Allow analytics. YouTube does not load until you press Play video.
Who receives it
- Academy staff, to answer you and run the gym.
- Square, only when you start a paid membership.
- Microsoft or Google, only for the sign-in button you click.
- YouTube, only after you press Play video in the library.
- Google Analytics, only after you choose Allow analytics. Reject analytics leaves it off.
How long we keep it
We keep lead and member records while they are needed to schedule classes, keep a membership, or meet a request you made. You can ask us to delete them. Staff review each request and email you when it is done.
Your choices
Phone on the trial and contact forms is optional. Cookie choices are equal: Allow analytics and Reject analytics. You can reopen that choice from Cookie settings in the footer. To ask for deletion, use the deletion request.
